Through The Cliffs
(Bronze Sculpture, 28" H x 19" W x 13" D)
I have always been amazed at the bald eagle's ability to maneuver. This bald eagle tries to capture in bronze this phenomenon. I have seen bald eagles turn sideways to pass through trees and cliffs. They twist their bodies, yet keep their heads parallel to the ground. Despite their seven foot wing span, the bald eagle is extremely agile for such a large bird.
