Autumn Breeze II

Down through the centuries, the owl has been a symbol of wisdom and mystery. Since the owl has no sense of smell, this majestic bird has been endowed with keen eyesight and hearing. The owl is almost stealth as it flies silently during its hunting expeditions. I decided to sculpt the great horned owl larger than life to metaphorically represent its importance to our natural world. She rests and watches during the last days of autumn.
