(Bronze Sculpture, 21" H x 20" W x 16" D)
The Peregrine Falcon is known as the Prince of the Falcons. It is sometimes called the "Duck Hawk" for it kills ducks in flight. It is a natural predator of birds. This bird is built for speed. Its habitat is found on the faces of cliffs. In today's world, this bird has been introduced to urban America to help reduce unwanted pigeons and other bird species on buildings and near airports. The mere presence of this great bird hunter frightens other birds away. In this bronze, the Peregrine Falcon is portrayed as entering flight from its cliffside home.
